How To Apply:

1. Register online by going to the IRFC’s official website.
2. Complete the online application by providing all required information.
3. Upload the necessary certifications, a scanned photo, a signature, and a left thumb impression.
4. If necessary, pay the application cost online.

7. Regular IRFC personnel are required to bring Vigilance & D&AR Clearance during Document Verification; however, they are not required to produce NOC.

The chosen applicants will execute a service bond (Rs. 2 lakh + GST for assistants and Rs. 3 lakh + GST for assistant managers) to serve IRFC for a minimum of two years. Selection Process 2026:

The selection process will include a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Document Verification, Interview (only for Post Code-02), and Medical Test.

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): One stage with Parts A and B (100 multiple-choice questions, 90 minutes; 120 minutes for qualified PwBD with a scribe).
2. Part A (50 points): Knowledge of Railways/IRFC (10), General Awareness (10), Logical Reasoning (10), and Mathematics/Numerical Ability (20).
3. Subject-specific (Corporate Accounting, Finance, Taxation, etc.) in Part B (50 marks).
4. Negative marking: When an answer is incorrect, one-fourth of the points are subtracted.
5. Qualifying scores are 40% for UR/EWS, 30% for SC/OBC-NCL, and 25% for ST.
6. If CBT was conducted in several shifts, normalization was used.
7. Based on CBT merit, candidates up to three times the number of openings (community-wise) would be invited to the next round.
8. Verification of Documents: Candidates who have been shortlisted will present their authentic documents or certifications.

The interview for E1 Level Assistant Manager/Finance accounts for 20% of the final merit, with CBT contributing 80%.

Medical Test: According to IRFC guidelines, candidates must be medically fit (C1 category).
Final merit was prepared strictly in accordance with CBT scores, interviews (where relevant), and current reservation regulations. Chosen candidates will be placed on probation for a year.
