Imply Is Hiring a Software Engineer (Remote) | Burlingame (CA), USA @imply.io

To create the first Observability Warehouse in the industry, Imply is seeking a Software Engineer. Building user-facing platforms and services that support and enable Imply’s solution to unleash the potential of open-source Apache Druid to become the preferred option for a high-performance, economical data layer for current observability tools is the main goal of this position.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria 

• Three or more years of expertise utilizing React or related technologies (Vue, Angular, Svelte, etc.) to create production-quality single-page applications
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar discipline, or comparable work experience
• Strong grasp of contemporary software engineering techniques, with an emphasis on testability and quality, including CI/CD and agile approaches
• It is ideal to have a thorough understanding of Javascript together with some expertise with statically-typed programming languages, or to be proficient with Typescript.
• knowledge of security, permission, and authentication in single-page applications
• Experience working as a member of an engineering team at a software-as-a-service firm and developing APIs using Java or NodeJS and interacting with third-party systems like Stripe and Braintree

Role and Responsibilities:

• Working as a cross-functional team to guarantee that the enterprise-grade services and interfaces we develop meet the requirements of our product in the domains of billing, identity, and APIs
• Working together with our quality, product, and user experience teams to swiftly and iteratively produce high-value features that are accurate, scalable, and safe
• Taking part in the continuous endeavor to enhance our work with every iteration as a cooperative group of experts in application engineering
• Creating robust tests that address every functional need and carrying out security audits
