Raytheon Is Hiring a Test Solutions Software Engineer | El Segundo (CA), USA @rtx.com
A Senior Software Engineer is needed by the Space Test Solutions division, which supports the Mission Solutions & Payloads sub-strategic business unit. EO/IR and RF test platforms are designed by the Space Test Solutions division.

Prior to the start date, a current and transferable security clearance from the US government is needed. Since only citizens of the United States are qualified for a security clearance, U.S. citizenship is necessary.
On day one, active and current security clearance is necessary.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria
- Usually calls for an advanced degree in a comparable discipline and at least three years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and at least five years of prior relevant experience.
- Proficiency in developing LabVIEW applications utilizing high-speed interfaces (FPGA, sRIO, SERDES, etc.)
- Prior to the start date, a current and transferable security clearance from the US government is needed. Since only citizens of the United States are qualified for a security clearance, U.S. citizenship is necessary.
- Our Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in developing test systems for complicated systems
- Familiarity with test procedures and/or plans.
- Knowledge of test-related reviews
- Familiarity with laboratory settings
- Experience assisting with SW and HW integration, validation, and verification
- Proficiency in debugging intricate issues and identifying economical fixes
- Exposure to specifications and testing for space systems
Role and Responsibilities:
- Specify the software needed for space payload test equipment.
- Create a software architecture for the test system to guarantee reliable operations.
- Put software code into practice to enable testing on hardware with fast interfaces.
- Integrate software for engineering units, space payloads, mechanical, optical, and electrical systems.
- Make test plans to validate the test suite.
- Verify the test equipment.
- Assist test apparatus by completing payload testingWhat You’ll learn:
