Shift supervisors are in charge of exercising leadership to guarantee that the store accomplishes all operational and financial goals, provides exceptional customer service, and complies with business policies and procedures. In addition to carrying out all of the responsibilities of a customer service representative, the shift supervisor helps the assistant store manager with daily store operations. The shift supervisor is in charge of overseeing the work of every team member while the store manager and assistant store manager are not present.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

A minimum of one year’s experience in management in sectors such retail, restaurants, financial services, and hospitality
Capacity, readiness, and ease in interacting with clients
Capacity to cultivate favorable connections with both internal and external clients
Strong drive to surpass company goals and motivate team excellence Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation abilities
Dynamic, team-oriented managerial background
Professional look and mannerisms
Integrity and honesty are essential.
Flexibility in working early in the morning, late at night, on the weekends, and on holidays
Fluency in English is necessary.
Being bilingual in Spanish and English is advantageous.
Long-term sitting and/or standing abilities are required.
The ability to lift up to 15 pounds without much help is required.
Must be able to focus in a busy setting with moderate to high noise levels and work in cramped areas.
In order to satisfy the demands and wishes of clients, it is necessary to multitask and deal with disruptions frequently.

Role and Responsibilities:

Continuing to provide exceptional customer service in the shop and cultivating a rapport with our clients to encourage repeat business
Creating a culture of excellent customer service in the store assisting the assistant store manager in putting plans into action that will help the store achieve its goals and objectives
Helping the assistant store manager inspire and develop the store staff to go above and beyond for customers
Ensuring adherence to municipal, state, and federal laws
carrying out customer service representative duties and overseeing team operations while the store
The manager is away, including but not limited to processing transactions, keeping cash drawers clean, and managing cash handling protocols
Advising CSRs on how to carry out transactions in a way that satisfies our dedication to compliance and excellent customer service.
Examining and approving checks within reasonable bounds
Assisting local business marketing initiatives and addressing consumer grievances
Helping the store manager oversee cash, schedules, and audits
Ensuring comprehension of current policies, procedures, and any changes by going over all operations bulletins, news messages, and training.
Assisting in keeping the store tidy and hygienic for both patrons and employees
Additional tasks as delegated.
