Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

5+ years of software development experience with a thorough understanding of system architecture and design.
An understanding of one or more contemporary programming languages, such as Python,
Typescript/Javascript, Java, Kotlin, or C#
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Strong proficiency in SQL/relational databases, PostgreSQL, and data modeling.
Curiosity and a desire to learn more about the inner workings of things and hone your craft.
Although not necessary, payments or risk experience are a plus.
The ability to decide on code design for all of the teams’ products.
Expertise in auditing codebases for teams with the goal of upholding strict security, testability, and change-making standards.
Proficiency in the architecture of distributed systems. the capacity to steer or assist in application design conversations.

Role and Responsibilities:

You will have a major influence on the delivery of a solution that small business owners adore and that streamlines the payroll process as a founding member of the US Payroll team.
Scale services that can accommodate millions of users.
To specify software requirements and expedite feature delivery, work along with Product Managers, Design, and other Xeros.
Create and implement large-scale, incredibly effective orchestration processes.
Create, construct, and incorporate third-party services and APIs.
Help shape our technical stack’s future while fostering a culture of constant improvement.
