Business executives around the company receive support and internal audit services from the highly effective Ryder Audit Services department. In order to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory obligations, Ryder Audit Services carries out audit and advisory operations with the goal of enhancing Ryder’s business and IT processes and promoting continuous improvement.

To help with a range of IT audit projects, Ryder Audit Services is seeking IT Audit Interns. Among other things, the intern might work on vendor audits, IT process audits, SOX or other compliance audits, and IT general control audits. Depending on the resource requirements at the time of the internship, interns are assigned to audits.

This job, which will allow you to work around your class schedule, is a remote part-time internship (20 hours per week) with Ryder Audit Services.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

The minimum requirement for successful applicants is that they be incoming juniors pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a similar discipline with courses in computer programming, accounting, auditing, economics, data analytics, or other financial or IT-focused subjects.
Strong communication skills, both in writing and speaking.
Solid familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
Excellent academic ability and sophisticated analytical problem-solving abilities.
Shown ability to work well in a team setting and finish group initiatives.

Demonstrates eagerness and personal accountability in finishing tasks and producing outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities

A number of factors, such as the candidate’s relevant experience, education (including relevant degrees or certifications), employment location, market data and ranges, internal equity, internal wage ranges, etc., may affect the compensation offered to a candidate. Depending on the level and/or kind, the role may also be eligible for a commission, annual bonus, and/or long-term incentive plan.
