VMware Hiring Software Engineer in Wilmington, Delaware @ careers.vmware.com – We’re seeking for a Software Engineer to join one of our VMware Carbon Black Cloud Development teams to help us create solutions that will enable us to provide our clients with an industry-leading security offering. Join a skilled team of engineers that use a range of cutting-edge cloud technologies to tackle huge issues while collaborating with malware analysts who are on the cutting edge of their field. You’ll create solutions that our clients want, and that will help them avoid the next front-page security disaster.
Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria
Experience building server-side apps for over four years
Building high-performance, data-intensive apps with AWS is a plus. Working knowledge of relational databases. Experience with Python, Java/C#, or another statically typed programming language. Expertise in developing a terabyte-scale data processing system that is high-performance, highly distributed, scalable, and dependable. Container knowledge and container orchestration tools
Roles and Responsibilities
Using AWS and big data technologies, lead the development of significant product features in a highly scalable environment. In design talks, contribute to architectural direction. Design, implement, and scale services and data processing pipelines together. As part of a Scrum team, participate in all phases of the software development cycle. To produce the best solution, work with product management, SRE, backend, and front-end developers.
