Zelig Hiring Junior QA Analyst in West Hollywood, California, United States @zelig.com At Zelig, we are seeking a proactive and meticulous Junior QA Analyst to join our Product team. By finding bugs, confirming feature behavior, and approving releases, you will play a crucial part in preserving the caliber and dependability of our user-facing products. To make sure every user encounter is smooth, useful, and enjoyable, you will work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering.For someone who is eager to learn the ins and outs of quality assurance in a dynamic product team, this is a fantastic opportunity.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

One to two years of experience in a testing, quality assurance, or related position.
strong knowledge of Agile approach, software development processes, and the part QA plays in them
Knowledge of QA tools such as Jira or comparable test management and ticketing systems
Outstanding teamwork and communication abilities—you’ll collaborate closely with people in engineering, operations, and strategy.
A keen eye for detail and a user-first mentality
Capacity to work independently, efficiently manage time, and pose insightful questions
Basic experience with browser dev tools, API testing (e.g., Postman), or mobile testing environments
Exposure to automated testing concepts or frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
Interest in expanding into test automation over time
Basic knowledge of mobile testing environments, API testing (e.g., Postman), or browser development tools
exposure to frameworks or concepts for automated testing (e.g., Cypress, Selenium)
Interest in gradually advancing into test automation

Roles and Responsibilities

Run manual test cases on online and mobile platforms for new features, improvements, and issue fixes.
Using product specifications and design prototypes as a guide, create, maintain, and develop transparent, repeatable test plans and cases.
Using Jira or similar technologies, log and monitor bugs with detailed reproduction instructions and a severity rating.
During design handoff and development, work together with Product, Design, and Engineering to confirm acceptance requirements.
To keep up with upcoming deliverables, take part in sprint planning and review sessions.
Before releases, perform regression testing to identify and prevent unforeseen problems.
From a user-centric QA standpoint, comment on usability and UI/UX consistency.
