Job Description
VMware Hiring Windows Server Engineer in Washington, District of Columbia @ careers.vmware.com – Software Engineers with experience in Windows development, computer security, and the creation of enterprise-grade server software systems are needed by our VMWare Carbon Black team. Ideal applicants have expertise with C++ object-oriented programming, databases, and Visual Studio software development, as well as a desire to build a world-class security solution. Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria
A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field is required. 6+ years as a Software Engineer with SQL programming skills, including designing complicated queries and database performance optimization. At least one of the following skills is required: C++, C#, and PHP are all examples of programming languages. Writing unit, functional, and system tests for verification and validation of your product code requires experience and enthusiasm. Ability to contribute to several aspects of the App Control Server product, including the database, Windows services, and user interface.
Roles and Responsibilities
Throughout the whole software development lifecycle, plan, design, develop, document, own, and manage various functionalities. With little or no direction, analyze, isolate, and address issues with product software. Respond swiftly to high-priority issues and work to ensure that they are resolved and that customers are satisfied. Lead and participate in software artefact evaluations, as well as provide thoughtful, high-quality comments. In the delivery of features, evaluate, choose, and modify conventional methodologies, tools, and procedures. Lead design conversations and collaborate with team architects, product management, endpoint, backend, and front-end engineers to create the correct solution to contribute to product strategy.
