Protingent Hiring Software Test Engineer in San Jose, California, United States @ protingent.com A fantastic contract position for a Test Engineer is available with Protingent Staffing’s client in San Jose, California. Our client’s enterprise product division is looking for a qualified test engineer to join our SSD customer qualification test team.
You will be in charge of carrying out and troubleshooting OEM drive qualification testing for SSDs as a vital team member.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

To make sure OEM drives are qualified, run and debug SSD tests.
Collaborate to find and fix test failures with the development team.
Examine and resolve problems with test scripts and logs.
knowledge of at least one front-end storage standard, such as SAS or NVMe/PCIe
familiarity with the Linux operating system
Background in programming or scripting (Perl, Shell, or Python)
Knowledge of IBM systems is advantageous.
Microsoft Windows certification knowledge is advantageous.

Roles and Responsibilities

Need to execute both automated and human web application testing.
Create and manage test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
Verify regular releases and maintain standards of quality.
Create and evaluate user story acceptability criteria.
Track and report flaws using test management technologies.
Provide automated functional tests to support code releases.
Work on enterprise platforms and eCommerce initiatives.
