Are you an accomplished, meticulous bookkeeper who appreciates collaborating directly with clients and coworkers in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting? We are pleased to announce a position in our Client Advisory Services (CAS) Department for a Bookkeeper. This is a great chance for driven people with bookkeeping experience to collaborate directly with seasoned experts, hone their technical abilities, and maintain deep client relationships.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

Five years or more of practical bookkeeping experience (public accounting or a CPA company is preferred)
Strong knowledge of bank and cash reconciliations, as well as accounting concepts such debits and credits
Expertise in accounting software (Preferred: Bill.com, Divvy, Sage Intact, QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, etc.)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, with a particular emphasis on Excel
Capacity to use abilities acquired in one client environment in comparable circumstances with other clients, whether new or current
Capacity to swiftly adjust to new workflows, tools, and systems
Knowledge of the AICPA’s Code of Professional Conduct
Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to oversee several projects while maintaining precision
Positivity, teamwork, and a client-centered approach
A driven and proactive person who takes the initiative to advance their career

Role and Responsibilities:

Keep and oversee full-cycle bookkeeping and audit-ready documents for several clients.
On behalf of clients, process and document daily AP, AR, payroll, general ledger entries, and transactions.
Complete bank and credit card reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Create and examine financial statements, mainly the income statement and balance sheet with supplementary reports.
Help with the year-end and month-end closing procedures
Ensuring precision and adherence to corporate and accounting standards
Finding disparities and taking aggressive measures to address accounting problems
Attend client meetings and serve as a liaison.
Have dependable (minimum) transportation for clients’ commutes.
Making effective and efficient use of accounting software when necessary and maintaining contact with clients, partners, associates, paralegals, and opposing lawyers: 1850 billable hours
