To help Spry Fox, a Netflix Game Studio, offer the newest video games to a global audience, Netflix is seeking an experienced QA Test Lead. Driving the highest quality testing requirements for our new games on our top-tier platform, this person will be fully integrated into Spry Fox and report centrally to Netflix QA.

Leading the QA effort for their releases and overseeing several titles will be greatly impacted by your inventive technical expertise and hands-on approach as a test specialist. Project management abilities, outstanding testing knowledge, and a thorough comprehension of the wide range of consumer devices—with an emphasis on Android and iOS—are necessary for this position.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

Five years or more of expertise in the live service and mobile gaming quality assurance industries
Three years or more of experience managing test teams
Outstanding proficiency in iOS and Android testing
Self-motivated work ethic, maintaining regular contact with the group and seeking solutions as necessary
Proven ability to plan tests for intricate features and systems
Excellent communication abilities both in writing and speaking, as well as in-depth understanding of technical specifications, instruments, and procedures
Demonstrated capacity for autonomous and distant work
A love of gaming and a dedication to excellence
Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master and/or Product Owner
Experience with Slack, Favro, TeamCity, Backtrace, and Discord

Roles and Responsibilities

Oversee the complete QA procedure for several gaming projects to guarantee that the final product meets Netflix’s quality requirements.
Develop thorough planning and concise test case suites by interacting with developers, analyzing design papers, and being hands-on with the title.
Foresee production and quality issues and aggressively collaborate with the team to resolve them and minimize development setbacks.
Lead and oversee a group of QA testers, providing direction, instruction, and assistance to increase their effectiveness and output.
To speed up bug fixes, use internal tools to investigate flaws and problems and give debug information such as call stacks, player profile statuses, and device performance metrics.
Defects reported by players are sorted and routed into the internal tracking database for the next milestone releases.
Authorize and oversee change lists and fixes.
