Harmonia Holdings Group Hiring Functional Tester in Arizona, United States @ harmonia.com For the IRS EST project, Harmonia is looking for a qualified Functional Test Engineer to assist with Task Order #1: Functional Testing. By doing thorough testing in Agile and DevSecOps environments, this role is essential to verifying the functionality and dependability of significant IRS systems.Contribute to continuous test automation
Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria
- Practical knowledge of functional testing in intricate enterprise systems
- Excellent familiarity with IRS systems or prior experience in the field of federal taxes
- Competent in Java, Selenium, SQL, and SOAPUI; familiar with IBM Rational tools (ETM, DNG, RFT)
- Knowledge of DevSecOps procedures and Agile approaches
- Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and outstanding communication skills both in writing and speaking
- A current IRS MBI Public Trust or one that was held during the previous two years is required.
- Previous experience with government agency or IRS testing
- Experience with test automation in CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Jira, Git, Jenkins, or comparable software
- ISTQB or comparable certifications for testing
Roles and Responsibilities
Create and carry out functional tests for IRS systems with a significant impact, such as:
Master File for Business (BMF)
CADE2 Modernized e-File (MeF) Individual Master File (IMF)
Program for Return Reviews (RRP)
Create test plans, scripts, techniques, and reports that adhere to IRS regulations.
Provide test execution support to Agile/DevSecOps teams throughout sprint and release cycles.
Make use of IBM Reasonable resources for traceability and test management, such as:
Rational Functional Tester (RFT) DOORS Next Generation (DNG) Engineering Test Management (ETM)
Work together with product owners, developers, and analysts to guarantee requirements traceability and test coverage.
Determine, record, and monitor flaws; support root cause analysis
Participate in ongoing test automation and optimize the test environment.
