The Head of EHS will be the person to whom this on-site role in Livermore, CA is reported.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria 

• A bachelor’s degree in business, risk management, industrial hygiene, occupational health and safety, or a related discipline
• At least eight years of increasing experience in human resources, risk management, EHS, or operations management in manufacturing, distribution, or similar industrial settings
• Be a decisive, action-oriented person with a strong analytical attitude.
• Have a high level of proficiency in investigating, analyzing, and implementing regulatory standards
• Display exceptionally strong technical writing abilities and the capacity to provide accurate, lucid documentation.
• Effectively impact results by encouraging cooperation, establishing confidence, and bringing stakeholders together.
• Assume complete responsibility for your tasks, acting proactively and using management direction when necessary.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Establish and uphold EHS programs to guarantee adherence to corporate standards and state, municipal, and federal laws.
• Create and oversee hazard analyses and assessments to pinpoint operational hazards for EHS, and serve as the facility’s representative in regulatory and outside audits and evaluations.
• In order to stop recurrence and enhance EHS performance, respond to incidents, oversee investigations, conduct root cause analysis, and oversee the installation and upkeep of corrective measures.
• Develop and put into place remedial measures and controls to lessen and/or eliminate EHS hazards by collaborating across functional areas.
• Write work instructions, training materials, policies, and other technical documents after conducting research.
• Create, administer, and manage thorough training programs to ensure regulatory compliance and provide EHS education for staff members in all functional areas.
