The system administrator will lead and give vision for the creation and upkeep of IT infrastructure. In this capacity, the engineer will supervise the organization’s cloud and tech-stack plans and guarantee that every system is functioning at peak efficiency.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

An IT-related bachelor’s degree.
Demonstrated expertise in managing IT systems in both on-premises and cloud settings.

Workplace: This position usually works in an office setting, however it may occasionally be necessary to travel to other company locations for system maintenance or installation.
The capacity to explain technical ideas to non-technical users.
Familiarity with Active Directory deployment and configuration, including Group Policy management.
Familiarity with Cloudflare, which supports an online store.
Familiarity with cloud-based systems such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Familiarity with enterprise data backup programs.
Familiarity with allow-listing, NGAV, or EDR software management.
Familiarity with managing incident response.
Familiarity with Office 365 or Microsoft Exchange.
Knowledge of Cisco network hardware support and configuration.
Knowledge of VoIP technology.
Knowledge of enterprise mobile manager programs, such as AirWatch and MobileIron.
Knowledge of PowerShell or PowerCLI.
Knowledge of corporate monitoring programs such as SolarWinds or Nagios.

Roles and Responsibilities

By keeping an eye on system performance and error messages, organizing scheduled maintenance, reacting to system outages, and offering root cause analysis, you can guarantee the stability and integrity of IT services.
Oversee the installation, upkeep, and modernization of IT systems, such as PCs, servers, networks, operating systems, databases, and software programs.
Improving cloud infrastructure by creating a highly secure and redundant design.
Set up and maintain Cloudflare settings for the best possible website security and performance.
To incorporate Cloudflare solutions into online apps, work together with development teams.
Work together with other departments to comprehend their IT requirements and put IT solutions in place that support the aims and objectives of the business.
To keep the company’s technological stack secure and up-to-date, stay up-to-date on the newest developments in cybersecurity and IT infrastructure.
Evaluate and fix issues or incident reports for a range of technological devices and solutions.
Set up and implement routers, switches, IPS/IDS-enabled firewalls, ASA firewalls, virtual and physical servers, and other hardware in the business infrastructure.
Put company security policies and procedures into action, explain them, and enforce them.
Conduct regular audits, evaluations, and reviews of security compliance as needed.
When necessary, put in extra hours to fulfill deadlines or address problems.
Take part in the on-call rotation to offer round-the-clock assistance and complete the necessary checklist tasks while on call.
