To verify API functionality and performance, we are looking for a meticulous Manual QA Tester with practical Postman experience. To guarantee the caliber of front-end and back-end components on our PHP (Laravel) and React platforms, you will collaborate directly with the development and product teams.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

Expertise in manual quality assurance testing, with an emphasis on Postman API testing.
Strong knowledge of HTTP methods, JSON payloads, status codes, and RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of using Postman to create and arrange test cases, requests, and environments.
The capacity to decipher API documentation (such as Swagger and Postman collections) in order to create efficient tests.
Knowledge of PHP or React is advantageous; a basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) is required.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail abilities.
Familiarity with teamwork in agile development environments.
Knowledge of test management software, such as Jira, TestRail, and Zephyr.
Exposure to Postman scripting and automated API testing (e.g., Pre-request Scripts, Tests tab).
Familiarity with testing on mobile devices or across browsers.
Desire to gradually broaden one’s skill set to include responsibilities in quality engineering or test automation

Roles and Responsibilities

Run web application test cases by hand, paying particular attention to API dependability, usability, and usefulness.
Using Postman, create and carry out API tests that validate data integrity, request/response formats, endpoints, and status codes.
Create and manage test environments, test data, and test collections in Postman.
Work together with the product and development teams to troubleshoot API problems and confirm solutions.
Conduct cross-browser, regression, and exploratory testing on online applications.
Create thorough test strategies for the UI and API layers by reviewing the requirements and acceptance criteria.
Using recognized tools, clearly record test findings, API answers, flaws, and quality issues.
