Job Description
Brooksource Hiring Java Software Engineer in West Hartford, Connecticut @ brooksource.com – Since a Software Engineer, you will need to be proficient in Python and SQL scripting and querying, as you will be working on three separate projects developing data pipelines and data sets. We’re seeking for someone with a keen eye for data, as well as the ability to solve problems and perform basic analysis in order to aggregate data and display it in a way that customers can understand. Finally, as a Software Engineer, you will assist in the development of databases that are optimal for application development and data reporting, as well as collaborate directly with internal stakeholders to understand business needs from a technical standpoint and design databases to meet these requirements.
Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or the equivalent in education and experience, is recommended. 2+ years of Python scripting and SQL querying expertise. Working knowledge of the AWS or Open shift systems. Strong communication and documentation abilities, as well as a desire to work on application design
Roles and Responsibilities
Using Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC), evaluate an application’s ability to control access to data and databases. Extract and repopulate data from ServiceNow to IBM Cloud Pack platforms, and vice versa, to assist with Unified Classification Remediation. Vendors are used to evaluate third-party foreign data transfers.
